Cygnets to Swans (CTS) is a small performing arts school offering ballet, modern, tap and musical theatre to children, and adult ballet classes in Wadhurst, East Sussex. We strive to maintain a nurturing and holistic environment, where pupils feel fully engaged with their teacher enabling them to thrive in every genre of the performing arts. Children have the opportunity to perform a couple of times a year and to take part in assessments before progressing to the next grade. Some children may be invited to take part in competitions or auditions. We strongly encourage a huge sense of camaraderie to celebrate each other’s successes. We are a big family.
CTS is run by ex-dancer Hannah Risbridger who trained at The Royal Ballet School and Laine Theatre Arts. We also now have an incredibly talented team of four additional teachers; Olivia Safe, Josephine Rogers, Tina Frances and Harriet Goddard.
